Kay Waller of K Consultancy has spent over 30 years in the accounting world, from the bottom rung to the top of the ladder. Kay started as ledger clerk in the days when everything was very manual. Having to know what double entry bookkeeping really is through to moving to computerised systems as they were developed. Kay developed her skills and experience through various accounting roles all the way up to Finance Director & Company Secretary for a Steel Wire Manufacturing Company. She also became senior consultant for one of Sage’s leading Business partners.
10 years ago, Kay decided to set up her own business, K Consultants. She shared the knowledge gained from working in and with so many different industries. From A-Z, Accountancy, Education, healthcare, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, oil & gas production to Zoological.
Kay’s goal is to make a positive difference to the working lives of businesses and their staff.
