Martin Spiller is a Senior Lecturer at Cranfield School of Management.

Martin is a passionate and highly motivated commercially focused chief financial officer experienced non-executive director and senior lecturer with a specialism in Small and Media sized Enterprise growth, entrepreneurial finance and entrepreneurship.

Martin has an unusual and differentiated skill set being both a chartered accountant and barrister-at-law (non-practising).  He has a proven track record of delivering real improvements in business performance across a range of sectors and business types as a founder, advisor or investor.

Martin is extremely enthusiastic and comfortable advising at board level as well as working as part of the team on the day-to-day tasks. He specialises in helping entrepreneurial ventures to grow by providing strategic financial direction and skills.

At Cranfield School of Management Martin is the academic lead and programme director on the five growth and sustainability programmes. He also contributes modules on seven others programmes ranging from venture capital to managing family businesses.
