About the conversation:

Following up makes the sale happen!

Leading Charity Expert, Ron Overton, will show you the one thing that transforms sales, marketing and networking into profitable sales. Take your business or charity from frustration to fruition. Following up will get it done!

Learn how to grow your business or charity and be much more effective at leveraging your marketing and relationship building.

Develop all your existing contacts. An efficient and easy to use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is essential to avoid losing all the contacts you’ve spent time and money building up

Many people collect business cards and stack them in a drawer or in a pile on the desk. Logging them correctly into your CRM system is a key part of effective marketing and relationship building. They could be a gold mine.

Work out a consistent and disciplined routine. Make sure you create a system and a process you can fully commit to and understand. Develop good habits. What will you do every time you meet someone? How will you develop your new relationship? What will you definitely do if your new contact is not immediately responsive? When you receive a new lead or a referral what is your process for converting that into business? Implement that process now!

Keep your business and products in the market-place. Your market place. Work out what that market place needs to be for your business or product line and how you will reach it. Make a plan for how you will leverage that and follow up contacts and then make sure you do it.

Send your contacts a regular digital newsletter. Develop your LinkedIn process. Research the best networking opportunities that fit well with your business ambitions and become a regular attendee. Always turn up on time or early. Do what is important. Johari window?

Understand and know your numbers and your Return on Investment (ROI). Work out what you need. Then work backwards so you know what you need to do to achieve that. How many of what type of contacts do you need to make to deliver the returns you need? Do you know your conversion rate? Understand and improve your sales funnel for all your products and services.

Many small business owners spend a lot of time, money and frustration failing to build the customer base they need. That could be because they don’t know how to build those relationships. More often, it’s because they haven’t built a simple system to build and nurture those important relationships.

Ron will challenge you to make the most from your existing contacts rather than constantly having to look for hard to win new contacts which you then need to develop. Your small business or charity will be transformed by improving your database and conversion rate by just 10 or 20%
