About the conversation:

Your Chance to Tap Into Top Student Talent

Book your place to learn more about the B-Enterprising micro internship scheme from the prestigious University of Buckingham.

B-Enterprising is a micro-internship scheme providing short-term, part-time, and paid professional assignments undertaken by the top students at The University of Buckingham. Their aim is to provide your organisation with access to their highly motivated students to fulfil your project needs. They will bring fresh ideas and perspectives to your organisation. In turn, your organisation will provide students with meaningful work experience.

Why would you use the B-Enterprising scheme?

B-Enterprising will provide you with a chance to resource projects you haven’t had the time or resources to work on. It also saves you loads of time and effort in the administration of contracts and paying your student intern. B-Enterprise will simply invoice you to cover the cost of the student’s salary at the end of the internship. So you only pay when it’s finished.

Students are paid £10.42 per hour for up to 45 hours. There is also funding available for charities, so B-Enterprise covers all the costs of paying a charity’s first student intern this year.

B-Enterprising is designed specifically to enable small and micro-businesses and other organisations like yours to take on talented student interns. They have been doing this successfully since autumn 2021.

The scheme is flexible which makes it suitable for employers of any size. You’ll also receive personalised support from a dedicated member of staff at the University of Buckingham. They will be the key point of contact for both you and the student intern throughout the process. They will ensure everything runs smoothly. By organising the contracting and payroll arrangements on your behalf B-Enterprise make it as easy as possible for you to get involved.
