Cheryl has 30 years’ experience in education and training at a senior level. She has an MA in Applied Sociology and has completed further studies in positive psychology. Cheryl’s role in The French Translation Company includes marketing and promotion, accounts, recruitment and training. As the native English speaker, Cheryl checks and even sometimes slightly improves French to English translations. Cheryl has developed courses for would-be translators and visits secondary schools for careers events.
Worked in education and training for nearly 40 years, mainly in schools and local authorities - in the last 8 years with businesses too.
Trained in Investment in Excellence with The Pacific Institute and Sue Stone (positive psychology/coaching)
Remodelling Adviser for Bedfordshire (a national programme on change management) Particular skills and expertise in effective, customised recruitment, selection and performance management processes
Have been challenged in an Employment Tribunal, (no fun, but I won)
