If you want to know how to improve your company’s productivity and bottom line, without it costing you a penny, you need to be at the Business Growth Club Milton Keynes this Friday Morning, 18th August, from 7.15am at Abbey Hill Golf Centre in Two Mile Ash, Milton Keynes MK8 8AA
The accepted business practices in most companies are very expensive and add unnecessary cost to their operation, according to Ken Lewis. We keep hearing that our productivity is poor in the UK, but Ken solved this productivity puzzle 30 years ago.
“We are all in the same business,” says Ken. “That is selling time.”
“I have a simple way of collecting data and ways of controlling costs, so we can identify activities that do not add value to our customers.”
“It’s about making simple changes to processes, techniques, beliefs and values,” adds Ken. “The strategy has to change so we can drive out fear, and tap into the talents of everyone in the organisation.”
“For example, I believe you need to create a firm data collection base, so you understand exactly where your hours go each week,” Ken continues. “This will give you the confidence to take the next step on your journey to excellence, as you will now be in control at all times, and can take some risks.”
So what may you need to do?
*Tear up the rule book
*Come to work when you need to
*Let employees set their own salaries
*Tear down the internal walls
*Let teams set their own production targets and schedules
The result is a highly successful organisation that will beat the competition hands down, because they won’t be using this method.
