Willen Hospice has provided a vital service to Milton Keynes for over 35 years. It relies on local fundraising to maintain this vital service. Willen has a busy calendar of events & activities & is grateful for the generous support of the many thousands of people who contribute towards its running costs.

Willen’s vision is to be the lasting & thriving provider of free care to people affected by life limiting illness in Milton Keynes. It’s 15 bed In-Patient Unit is located in peaceful surroundings overlooking Willen lake.  Last year over 300 patients were referred & received 24 hour expert care from their team of specialist doctors & nurses.

Many patients received help & support to manage at home & when they needed it & received the dedicated support of their Community Service.  Willen’s Hospice at Home service is an established, integral component of end of life care in Milton Keynes. It brings the skills, ethos & practical care into the patient’s home environment.

Willen’s wrap around support services, a Well-being Centre, Chaplaincy, Lymphoedema Clinic, Physiotherapy and Patient, Family & Service, continue to be a crucial part of the care package. Without it, patient’s & their families would experience immeasurable suffering in their time of need.

Willen must raise £3,650,000 every year. That’s £10000 a day or £7 every single minute!

If Willen relied solely on government funding, each week they would only be able to offer services from Monday morning until Tuesday lunchtime!
