Brain tumour research is woefully under-funded – your support is desperately needed and is very much appreciated by those working on behalf of brain tumour, patients and those who are yet to hear what can be a life threatening diagnosis.Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us whilst we cycle and donations will be processed and passed directly to Brain Tumour Research who are based in Milton Keynes.Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on this charity’s behalf when the donor is eligible.Firstly a little about brain tumours and the present research budget used to conquer this disease.Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer... yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.This is unacceptable!Brain Tumour Research’s vision is to find a cure for brain tumours.Their mission is to build a network of experts in seven sustainable brain tumour research centres.Our mission on 25th February is to raise £2,740 which will fund one centre for one day.They are also challenging the government and larger cancer charities to invest more in brain tumour research.Help us fund the fight. Together we will find a cure. Our team ride this February is just one small way of helping … but it can only be done with your support!
