About the conversation:

Discover how Cyber Security enables your business in an increasingly insecure age.

Learn to change your mind set. You can make Cyber Security into a business enabler. Learn to stop thinking that Cyber Security gets in the way of you doing more business.

When you change your mindset and do Cyber Security correctly, it will enable you to do more business, not less. It demonstrates your business commitment to data security. It also shows you can achieve and maintain a great Cyber posture by continuous monitoring and audit.

1: Cyber Essentials as a heads up – Cyber Essentials is the very beginning of your process. It helps an organisation to discover where they are now in terms of Cyber risk. It’s your cyber “sat nav” helping you know the length of the journey you’re need to take.

2: Cyber Essentials Plus is the first proper step to your Cyber Assurance and Cyber Security enlightenment. You’ll know where to start your journey. You’ll require self-assessment and a 3rd party technical audit. You’ll find this a real eye opener.

3: Moving up the Cyber Assurance Stack – Once you’re on the journey to Cyber Assurance you’ll need how far you have to go. The ISO2700x family of standards and the NIST800 guidance should be your goals. You’ll organisation will need to ‘buy-in’ to this at a strategic level in order to reap all the business enablement benefits down the road.

4: Dean Morgan from Xpertex will provide a roadmap to a better Cyber Security Posture. He'll give you insights that show how your organisation can be better prepared for your future cyber security requirements. Many of these requirements will become mandatory, especially if you want to work with the government supply chain, Health, Finance or Charities. If you don’t sort this out your competitors will and they’ll eat your lunch.
