How Hard Will it be to Sack Someone After June 23rd?

'10 Minute Tip' by Andrew Buckley

Andrew Buckley has been a solicitor since 2000, and a partner of Woodfines Solicitors since 2004.  He has specialised exclusively in employment law for the last seven years, and enjoys representing litigants in the employment tribunal.

Outside of his legal work, Andrew has a young daughter plus 5 month old twins, plays golf (very badly) and runs for a couple of hours every day. He has trained in a martial art called Tae Kwon-Do for 30 years and recently took gold and became the English black belt champion.

Finally, Andrew has a keen in interest in local politics and is a Councillor for the Monkston Ward in Milton Keynes.

About the conversation:

·       The U.K. joined the EU in 1973.

·       For some, the EU is an essential precursor to being able to trade properly with our neighbours and to keeping proper world order.

·       To others it is a bloated autocracy that imposes ludicrous rules upon member states.

·       On 23 June 2016 the UK will vote on whether to remain a member.

·        How will either vote affect you, your staff and your business?

In this 10 Minute Tip, Woodfines Solicitors partner and specialist employment lawyer Andrew Buckley will discuss how Europe affects employment law - and the likely consequences of a BREXIT vote.
