Milton Keynes Top Video Marketing Expert

'10 Minute Tip' by Farai Chirimuuta

Farai Chirimuuta set up 3rd Lens Productions back in 2007 with business partner Sam Obiri.

Since then the company has specialised in a wide range of business video covering corporate programmes, commercials, infomercials and seminars, but most frequently, testimonial videos that feature clients endorsing the products or service that they are championing.

In addition, 3rd Lens delivers more diverse video work such as music videos, and filming live events. Added to this is a strong interest in developing accessibility to film and film making for people in general.

On a number of occasions Farai has volunteered to conduct sessions teaching videography to children attending a youth centre in Bletchley, run by Milton Keynes council.

About the conversation:

Now that the excitement of cheap, badly-made DIY video has died down, it’s time to appreciate just how valuable video can be to a small business. Video opens up a window on a company; another dimension through which customers and prospects can get to know more about you, and why they should buy your products and services. But it’s no good expecting to achieve this without professional help. Although anyone can now buy a low-cost, relatively high-quality video camera, this does not mean they know how make a professional video that enhances their image … far from it. Correct, creative filming and editing are critical, and those are skills that take years to perfect. All the same, the real cost of making a video for business is probably less than 10 percent of what it was in pre-digital days, and with the right help you can have a short video professionally made from around £1000.However first of all, you need to know more of what a video can achieve for you – and you might find some of it surprising. In his 10 Minute Tip on June 24th, Farai Chirimuuta – founder and Creative Director of Milton Keynes based 3rd Lens Productions – will explain exactly what video can do (and what it can’t) to add that vital, visual dimension to your business, with some interesting examples.Don’t miss it.
