About the conversation:
Helping Our Young People benefits us all!Our young people today have huge needs. Transitions UK is a charity designed to meaningfully address them. These needs are not being reported & are in danger of damaging a whole generation of young people & with them our own community & society.
Not enough is being done. Please take interest & support our launch of a project for young people leaving care in and around Milton Keynes.
Learn about the level of needs & how they can be addressed. Find out how our two year mentoring programme works. Help make change happen in your local community.
Transitions UK is an exciting & ambitious charity already making a difference for young people with learning disabilities & those at risk of offending. Transitions UK is funded & endorsed by BBC Children in Need & a Police Commissioner. Corporate partners include Electrolux, Trend Engineering & Luton Town FC.
Transitions UK is keen to talk to everyone who shares the vision to change lives & futures. Some business segments are more likely to have a greater synergy with young people than others, including Sports, Leisure & Music.
Transitions UK is particularly keen to forge partnerships with any & all companies who can offer supported apprenticeships & work tasters for young people leaving care.
