'10 Minute Tip' by Sarah Padiha - Professional Photographer and Photojournalist - 7am until 9:30am

Sarah Padiha is an award winning photojournalist and documentary style photographer taking candid and natural images. She’s currently studying her Masters degree in Photography with Falmouth University. Sarah has also had a successful 30 year career predominantly in the international corporate finance and banking space working for a number of different banks.

Sarah became self-employed in 2018. She started business consultancy, predominantly business mentoring fellow photographers, as well as running global cash management projects and becoming a professional photographer founding Padiha Images. Sarah is a member of the IoD having specialist finance knowledge and expertise. Sarah is also open to taking on further Non-Exec director roles.

After leaving corporate life, Sarah discovered that she’s a creative.

This, together, with Sarah also discovering she has ADHD, has been transformational. In ADHD terms, photography being her hyper-focus, is where she is able to fully express herself, as well being totally absorbed. Sarah’s passion for street photography emerged from being able to travel quite extensively for holidays/pleasure.

Capturing life, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Much of Sarah’s Instagram posting is derived from this. Sarah has also worked for a number of small charities producing their website and social media imagery. Most notably, in 2023 she was in The Gambia working with a local charity there.

Commercially, Sarah is a Wedding, Event and Branding photographer. Always, using a natural, photojournalist style, "Reporting a Day in the Life" whatever that day is. You can find this work showcased in her website and Facebook business profile.

Sarah is an Ambassador for the Arts & Culture Network (ACN). This is an international networking group of 10,000 members, bringing together likeminded creatives across the multitude of disciplines and practices globally.

Sarah works really well with micro, small and medium business owners. She has done great work with website designers and developers, Social Media and Marketing businesses. Sarah also has great experience with wedding and event aligned businesses such as wedding and event planners, cake makers, wedding venue businesses.
